Casa Anja

Casa Anja is a lovely private retreat, set in glorious countryside, located in a peaceful and quiet area 3 minutes from Monda, one of the “Pueblos Blancos” (typical white villages of southern Andalucia) but within easy reach of everything the cosmopolitan Mediterranean town of Marbella has to offer!

The charming country house is tastefully furnished in a traditional style with terracotta tiles and beamed ceilings!  The finca is surrounded by ample terraces with stunning views of the countryside with almond and olives trees and impressive mountainscape (on clear winter days you can see the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada). CASA ANJA is an environmentally friendly house powered by solar energy.

The Finca is situated only a 20 minutes drive away from the Marbella beaches – on the edge of the national park “Sierra de las Nieves”, a huge natural park of outstanding natural beauty with unspoilt countryside stretching for miles every way!

Accomodation

The charming country house is tastefully furnished in a traditional style with terracotta tiles and beamed ceilings! 

There is an open plan sitting/dining room providing a lovely intimate area with a working open fire, CD player, DVD player and satellite TV. It leads into a charming kitchen.

The kitchen, enhanced by Morrocan style tiles and lighting offers dishwasher, gas cooker, fridge/ freezer, washing machine and a full range of eating and cooking utencils.

It is well equipped for those romantic evening dinners on the terrace beside the pool.

On the first floor is a charming double bedroom (bed size 1,60 X 2m), a small double bedroom (bed size 1,20m X 2m), a single bedroom (baby cot available) and a comfortable bathroom with bathtub and shower. Bath and pool towels, sheets and blankets are provided!

Outside facilities

There are ample terraces around the house with marvellous views of the surrounding countryside with almond and olives trees and impressive mountainscape (on clear winter days you can see the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada).
A charming barbecue area and 30 m² covered terrace, perfect for al fresco dining is situated next to the house.

The terrace with terrific views leads to a lovely 4m x 8m swimming pool. There are many private and secluded sunbathing spots and comfortable garden furniture.
